I am not fully down on carefree, according to the owner, he just took over there... so the business was apparently run properly before and the new owner just doesn't seem to be doing the job he is supposed to be doing.
Stored my car here during deployment and I must say the owners are very courteous and professional. Took great care of my car. Got it back exactly as I left it. They kept me updated on the car. Timely responses while deployed. I recommend this place to anybody looking to store a vehicle. Especially soldiers deploying. You will not regret it.
Amazing service! The staff go above and beyond to take care of customers. Would definitely recommend, especially for military storing cars over the harsh winters.
Very nice people and keep in contact with me through emails during deployment. Even stayed way past closing just so I could pick up my vehicle.
We used carefree for just shy of a year and were pleased with the beginning of the process. The staff I had dealt with were nice and very helpful. Once we came to move our things out we noticed in EVERY box there were mouse feces and nests in places. We even found a dead mouse at the back of the unit! My wife called to speak with the owner, who wouldn't call her back (she finally called when he was there after over a week of not returning the call.) He rashly told her on the phone that it's "not his problem," and that he "didn't have the money to deal with it." He also managed to call her poor because we didn't have thousands of dollars to replace the ruined furniture and belongings. Upon researching why much of the feces was green / blue we found out that this happens when mice are poisoned. So the owner knew about the mice and denied it, and I wouldn't doubt if he hasn't told any of his other customers.
The friendliest business I have ever come across. They do everything they can to address your unique situation. The storage facilities and services are also high quality and I've never had an issue after multiple deployments storing my car or motorhome.
